Position Overview:

As the Head of Art, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the artistic direction and curriculum delivery within our school. Your responsibilities will encompass not only teaching Art across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5, but also leading a team of dedicated Art educators. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the high standards of our Art department, fostering creativity, and nurturing talent among our students.

Candidate Requirements:

  Teaching Expertise: Demonstrable experience in teaching Art at various Key Stages, with a strong track record of student achievement.

  Leadership Skills: Proven leadership ability or potential to lead a team of Art teachers, inspiring them to deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences.

  Vision and Innovation: A clear vision for the role of Art in education, coupled with innovative ideas to enrich the curriculum and engage students.


• 
  Qualifications: A formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g., PGCE) and eligibility to work in the UK.
