Our partner: Our partner is an established and growing live events business connecting audiences with leading voices from culture and entertainment. Producing experiences ranging from intimate conversations to large-scale tours and online events, they work across international markets and are known for thoughtful, culturally relevant programming. This is a creative, collaborative organisation where understanding the audience plays an important role in shaping commercial and programming decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Audience and Insights team and improve outcomes through refining of data systems, integrations and working practices.
- Build a clear understanding of audiences through data, analytics and research, turning findings into actionable recommendations.
- Lead audience segmentation and targeting across tours and campaigns to improve engagement and marketing ROI.
- Analyse campaign and ticket sales performance, using forecasting and advanced analytics to identify opportunities and risks.
- Develop dashboards and reporting that make complex data accessible and useful to teams and senior stakeholders.
Experience and skills that will deliver success in this role: The right candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on analytical capability and strong team leadership experience. You’ll be comfortable moving between audience strategy, data projects and digital marketing, and be able to translate complex findings into straightforward recommendations for senior leaders and non-specialist stakeholders.
Essential:
- Some experience in live events, ticketing or entertainment marketing, including data project management.
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation, ticketing platforms, digital advertising and analytics tools such as Power BI and GA4.
- Proven experience working with data analysts and translating complex data into clear recommendations for senior and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with audience research, CRM or ticketing system projects, alongside a sound understanding of data protection and data governance.
Desirable:
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms, Single Customer Views or advanced analytics techniques.
- An interest in applying AI and emerging technology to audience insight and commercial decision-making.
The opportunity: This is a broad-ranging senior role, ideal if you’re looking to use your expertise in audience insight to influence and define commercial strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to shape an audience insights function, lead an experienced team and work across data, marketing, ticketing and research while supporting programmes reaching audiences internationally. This role should particularly suit someone who enjoys combining strategic leadership with hands-on problem-solving and has an interest in live events and culture.
What’s on offer:
- Salary: c. £55k depending on experience.
- Location & working pattern: Central London, with the option to work from home for up to 40% of the working week.
- Reports to: Managing Director.
