Academics Ltd is pleased to be supporting a well-established school in Canterbury with the recruitment of a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Studies to lead their department from September 2025.

About the Role:
This leadership position offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious educator to lead and develop the Business Studies department, inspiring students and staff alike. The successful candidate will be responsible for curriculum management, staff mentoring, and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Business Studies department, including planning, delivery, and assessment
• Inspire and motivate staff and students to achieve academic excellence
• Oversee curriculum development and ensure compliance with exam board requirements
• Monitor and support student progress and attainment
• Collaborate with senior leadership to contribute to whole-school initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have substantial experience teaching Business Studies at GCSE and A-level
• Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills
• Possess excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Be passionate about Business education and student success
• Be able to motivate and inspire both students and staff
