As TBCo continues to grow and expand internationally, we’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Buying & Merchandising to join our Senior Leadership Team and play a key role in shaping the next stage of our growth.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines strong commercial thinking with a genuine eye for design-led fashion. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the Buying and Merchandising teams and work closely with Design, Brand, E-commerce, Marketing, Finance and Operations to shape our product strategy and drive sustainable, profitable growth.

The Role

You will lead the commercial product strategy across TBCo, ensuring our ranges are creatively strong, commercially successful and aligned with the wider growth ambitions of the business.

Working closely with Design and the wider leadership team, you will help translate our creative vision into clear commercial plans, while leading the Buying and Merchandising teams to deliver strong product, stock and margin performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Buying and Merchandising strategy across the business


• Owning overall range planning, stock strategy and Open to Buy


• Partnering closely with Design to build compelling, commercially successful collections


• Driving sales, margin, gross profit, stock turn and markdown performance


• Leading the development of sourcing, supplier and supply chain strategy through the Buying team


• Using customer, market and trading insight to identify opportunities and manage commercial risk


• Ensuring strong planning and forecasting across channels and international markets


• Working cross-functionally with Brand, E-commerce, Marketing, Finance and Operations to maximise product performance


• Building scalable Buying and Merchandising processes as the business grows


• Leading, developing and empowering the Buying and Merchandising teams


• Playing an active role within the Senior Leadership Team and contributing to the wider strategy and direction of TBCo

About you

We are looking for someone who is highly commercial, analytical and decisive, while also having a strong understanding of fashion, product and creative direction.

You will ideally have:

• A minimum of 6 years' experience within Buying and/or Merchandising


• At least 2 years' experience at a senior management or leadership level


• Strong experience within fashion retail, ideally within a fast-paced or growing brand


• Proven experience in range planning, forecasting, stock management and Open to Buy


• Strong commercial and numerical skills, with a clear understanding of margin, gross profit and profitability drivers


• Experience overseeing sourcing, supplier management and supply chain development


• A strong understanding of product, trends and design-led fashion


• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams


• The confidence to challenge, influence and make clear commercial decisions


• Strong cross-functional leadership skills


• An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, evolving business
