Head of Care

Location: Suffolk
Salary: £51,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week | Permanent

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Care to join a highly specialised neurological care centre dedicated to supporting adults with acquired brain injuries. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically skilled Head of Care to lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure outstanding, person-centred care delivery in a dynamic setting.

As Head of Care, you will oversee daily care operations, manage a team of nurses and rehabilitation staff, and ensure all care provided aligns with the highest clinical standards. The ideal Head of Care will bring expertise in complex care or neurorehabilitation, along with a proven ability to lead and inspire a clinical team.

• Lead, supervise, and mentor the nursing and rehab support team as the Head of Care

• Ensure personalised care plans are developed and implemented for all residents

• Maintain compliance with CQC, safeguarding, and best practice guidelines

• Promote professional development through regular staff supervision and training

• Deliver safe and effective care to support people with acquired brain injuries in achieving their goals

• NMC-registered RGN qualification

• Experience managing wards or complex care teams in a Head of Care or similar role

• Knowledge of safeguarding, clinical governance, and neurorehabilitation

• Mentorship in Practice (MIP) certification or equivalent experience

• A collaborative, compassionate approach to leadership
