Head of Casualty Reinsurance Actuary

We have partnered with a rapidly growing global reinsurer to find them a senior actuary focusing on Casualty lines. This is a brilliant opportunity to work with the brightest minds in casualty reinsurance globally and drive the profitability of $650m+ GWP book. The role is not limited to but includes:

• Leading a global team of 6 across London and the US, delivering individual account pricing support to UW and assess new business opportunities.
• Drive actuarial Pricing and business planning support that develop portfolio and risk level insights to improve UW performance, drive profitable growth and deliver against operational and strategic goals.
• Apply a comprehensive understanding of the casualty reinsurance market to influence underwriting and risk selection.
• Play an instrumental role in developing the global casualty pricing capabilities while pairing closely with UW.
• Assist dedicated teams in implementing HX.
• Deliver trend studies and development priorities for casualty pricing tools.
• Deliver Portfolio profitability deep dives to effect risk appetite.
