HEAD OF COLLECTIONS AND RECOVERIES

Over the last three years Arkle Finance have renewed their infrastructure and are now ready to accelerate our growth and realise their full potential – aided by our supportive parent, the Weatherbys Banking Group.

We are looking for a Head of Collections and Recoveries to join us on our journey.  You will become part of our management team and lead the Collections and Recoveries team to drive their targets for recovering outstanding and delinquent debt.

Based in our Wellingborough head office, you will have the flexibility to work from home two days a week.

THE ROLE

You will target the recoverability of debt across the portfolio – managing the caseload, team and third parties (solicitors and agents) to achieve this.  You will possess good negotiation skills and use this together with your debt / asset recovery experience and knowledge of legal avenues for recourse.  You will take a thoughtful and commercial approach to managing the portfolio which will deliver good outcomes for Arkle Finance and our clients. 

As a key member of the Arkle Finance team, you will also be expected to lend your knowledge and experience to collaborating with colleagues and helping to drive the business forward.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE

You will have experience of leading Collections and Recoveries teams and their activities for collecting debt across both corporate clients and individuals.  You will utilise this experience to lead the team, embed robust processes, drive improvement, and develop insightful management reporting.
