Head of Commercial – Hull KR
Hull KR is one of the UK's leading professional sports organisations and the reigning World Club Champions. Following significant growth both on and off the field, the club is continuing to expand its commercial operations and is now seeking an experienced Head of Commercial to lead its revenue-generating activities and commercial strategy.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a senior leadership role with responsibility for driving commercial growth across sponsorship, hospitality, advertising, events and partnerships.
The Role
As Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the club's commercial strategy, identifying new revenue opportunities and ensuring the successful management of existing commercial partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing the club's commercial strategy
*
Driving revenue growth across sponsorship, hospitality, advertising and events
*
Securing new commercial partnerships and sponsorship agreements
*
Managing and developing existing partner relationships
*
Leading and motivating the commercial team to achieve performance targets
*
Delivering partner activations, commercial events and hospitality experiences
*
Managing commercial budgets and performance reporting
*
Identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities
*
Working closely with senior leadership to support the club's long-term growth plans
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
*
Proven experience in a commercial leadership role
*
A strong track record of delivering revenue growth
*
Experience securing and managing sponsorships, partnerships or major commercial agreements
*
Previous experience leading and developing teams
*
Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
*
Commercial awareness and a strategic approach to business development
*
The ability to build long-term relationships with partners and key stakeholders
Experience within sport, media, entertainment or a similar commercial environment would be advantageous, although applications from candidates with broader commercial leadership experience are welcomed.
