To support their ongoing growth and reinforce their reputation, they are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Communications and PR to lead their external communications efforts.The Head of Communications and PR positionThe Head of Communications and PR will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance the company's visibility, promote its services, and protect its reputation. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in media relations, strategic communications, and public relations, as well as established relationships with major press and news agencies.Key Responsibilities:-Develop and implement a strategic communications plan to advance the company's brand identity, broaden awareness of its programs and priorities, and increase the visibility of its key initiatives across relevant audiences.-Lead all external communications and PR activities, including media relations, press releases, social media, and crisis communications.-Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to ensure proactive and positive media coverage.-Serve as the primary spokesperson for the company, effectively communicating its messages to the media, stakeholders, and the public.-Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including press releases, speeches, articles, and other PR materials that align with the company’s objectives.-Manage the PR and communications budget, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and deliver a strong return on investment.-Monitor industry trends and news, providing strategic counsel to senior leadership on potential opportunities and threats.-Lead and mentor a team of communications professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.-Evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and PR campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.Requirements-Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.-Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, public relations, or media relations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.-Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR and communications strategies.-Extensive network of contacts within major press and news agencies.-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and narratives.-Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing talent.-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.-Proficiency in digital communications and social media platforms.-Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle crisis communications with composure and professionalism.If you have the required experience and would like to discuss further, click APPLY or email your cv directly to
