Location: Hybrid / Southwest-based
Salary: £90K-£110K Per Annum
Type: Full-time, Permanent

A prominent and highly regarded regional law firm is seeking a new Head of Conveyancing to lead one of its most successful departments.

This is a rare opportunity to take over a high-performing, well-supported conveyancing team and guide it through the next phase of strategic growth. With a premium, service-led model - low caseloads, high client care - the firm has deliberately stayed away from volume-driven work and built a reputation for quality, not quantity.

The team is already a major contributor to the firm's revenue, looking to grow further, without compromising the boutique approach. Plans are in motion to expand into new geographic markets (including Bath), and this role will be central to that growth strategy.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of experienced lawyers and fee earners

• Drive the strategic growth of the department in line with firm-wide ambitions

• Identify new market opportunities and support expansion into new locations

• Uphold and develop the team's high standards of client service and delivery

• Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to shape the future of the firm

• A senior Residential Conveyancer or Commercial Property Lawyer with a strong track record

• Either an established Head of Department, or a senior practitioner ready to step into leadership

• Commercially minded, ambitious, and confident in setting and delivering strategic goals

• Able to inspire and engage a high-performing team while staying hands-on when needed

• Strong client relationship skills and a deep understanding of the property legal landscape

• Award-winning, progressive, and values-driven - with a clear, high-quality offering

• No high-volume caseloads - instead, a strong focus on service, support, and people

• Genuinely collaborative culture with an engaged and trusting leadership team
