  • Grade: £42,016 - £53,176 per annum

We are working with a independent training provider who offer post-16 learning programmes to young people, these include:

  • 16-19 Study Programmes covering a range of vocational programmes
  • Apprenticeships
  • Other corporate partnership programmes

We are seeking a dedicated Head of Curriculum to lead and manage services that make a significant impact on the lives of children, young people, and families. This role involves strategic management, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy to ensure the effective delivery of the 16-19 study programmes.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Lead and manage a team, ensuring a motivated, capable workforce focused on delivering high-quality services.
  • Oversee all aspects of service delivery, ensuring compliance with this training providers policies and achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
  • Engage with local commissioning bodies and stakeholders to develop and maintain relationships, influence best practices, and enhance service reach.
  • Manage financial and budgetary responsibilities, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Address and resolve any complaints or issues, maintaining high standards of professional conduct and compliance.
  • Promote and ensure adherence to child protection and safeguarding policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Relevant professional qualification and registration with the associated regulatory body as required.
  • Proven experience in managing children's services and leading teams.
  • Strong financial management skills and experience in managing budgets.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership skills.
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Desirable: Management skills qualification.
