Zachary Daniels are delighted to be partnering with a leading international business to recruit a Head of Data & Analytics. This is a pivotal leadership role with ownership of data strategy, architecture, and delivery across a modern Azure-based platform.

As Head of Data & Analytics, you'll shape and execute the enterprise data strategy, from building scalable pipelines and data lakes, to unlocking predictive analytics, AI, and machine learning for commercial advantage. You'll lead a talented team and ensure data becomes a true driver of growth, efficiency, and customer experience across the group.

Role Responsibilities:
· Define and deliver the enterprise data and analytics strategy aligned to business goals.
· Build, lead, and scale a high-performing data function including engineers, BI developers, and analysts.
· Own the architecture and optimisation of Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Power BI.
· Drive integration of ERP, CRM, IoT, and external datasets into a single source of truth.
· Deliver predictive modelling, AI, and machine learning to create measurable business value.
· Champion intuitive self-service analytics for business users.
· Implement best practice governance, ensuring compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIS2.
· Keep ahead of emerging technologies and foster a culture of experimentation and innovation.

About You:
· 8+ years in data leadership roles, with proven success building and scaling modern data teams.
· Expert in Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Power BI, with strong SQL, Python, Spark, and data modelling skills.
· Deep knowledge of cloud-native data architecture, data lakes, and streaming pipelines.
· Strong grasp of predictive analytics, AI, and machine learning applications.
· Excellent stakeholder management and ability to align data initiatives with business growth.
· Inspirational leader who can champion a data-driven culture across a complex organisation.
