The Role: Head of Design and Technology | Hounslow, West London

• Lead and develop the Design & Technology curriculum across Key Stages 3-5
• Provide inspirational leadership to a team of specialist teachers and technicians
• Monitor teaching and learning standards to drive continual improvement
• Develop innovative teaching strategies and foster a culture of creativity
• Champion student achievement in product design, engineering, textiles and food technology
• Organise extra-curricular opportunities including clubs, competitions, and exhibitions

Candidate Essentials: Head of Design and Technology | Hounslow, West London

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant Design Technology discipline
• Proven experience of teaching DT to GCSE and A-level (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated success in curriculum planning and raising attainment
• Ability to inspire both students and staff
• Strong organisational and leadership skills with a proactive mindset
• Committed to inclusive education and developing each learner's potential
