Location: Bristol (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £75,000- £83,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Are you a strategic and technically astute leader ready to drive transformation at scale? An enterprise business in the heart of Bristol is seeking a forward-thinking Head of Digital Infrastructure to lead the evolution of their digital platforms and IT services.

This is a high-impact leadership role within the IT Services Leadership Team, responsible for delivering a modern, secure, and high-performing infrastructure portfolio.

Head of Digital Infrastructure ?? About the Role

As Head of Digital Infrastructure, you will:

• Define and deliver a digital-first infrastructure strategy aligned with Business ambitions.
• Lead a skilled team through significant change, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive cost savings and service improvements by investing in modern technologies, simplifying legacy systems, and reducing technical debt through robust planning.
• Champion automation and Infrastructure as Code to increase agility and operational efficiency.
• Manage complex infrastructure environments across traditional and hybrid-cloud platforms.
• Build strong commercial relationships with third-party suppliers, ensuring value for money and alignment with business goals.
• Oversee investment planning, risk mitigation, and service delivery to meet and exceed SLAs.

Head of Digital Infrastructure ?? About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

• A strategic mindset with the ability to define and communicate a compelling vision.
• Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure functions and delivering change in complex environments.
• Deep technical expertise across hybrid-cloud platforms, including compute, storage, networking, Kubernetes, and more.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing supplier relationships to drive value.
• A track record of reducing technical debt and improving service delivery through simplification and best practice.
• Experience with agile methodologies and ITIL-aligned service management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
