Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and multifaceted Head of Digital Procurement to lead strategic procurement initiatives within our global operations. This role focuses on optimizing spend, fostering innovation through digital partnerships, and ensuring best-in-class supplier performance and value creation for complex technology and digital solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strong leadership of digital category teams to drive high performance, entreprising culture and dynamic career development.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies for enterprise technology and digital partnerships, aligning with overall business objectives and digital transformation goals.

  • Lead sophisticated negotiations with key technology and digital suppliers, ensuring favorable terms, conditions, and pricing structures that drive value and mitigate risk.

  • Perform detailed relationship and supplier management including cost modelling to identify opportunities for cost optimization, efficiency gains, and value improvement.

  • Leverage product and market intelligence to identify emerging technologies, market trends, and innovative digital solutions that can enhance BP's operational capabilities.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, and various business units to ensure procurement activities are integrated and supported.

Qualifications:

  • Experience of leading and mentoring a procurement team and fostering culture of continuous improvement.

  • Proven track record in successful agreements and negotiations, particularly in complex technology and digital partnership environments.

  • Strong Business Acumen with the ability to understand business drivers and translate them into effective procurement strategies.

  • High level of Digital Fluency, with a deep understanding of emerging technologies and digital transformation trends.

  • Ability to leverage Product and Market Intelligence to inform strategic decisions.

  • Extensive experience in Supplier Performance Management and Supplier Relationship Management.
