About the Role

An Outstanding secondary school in Harrow seeks a dynamic Head of Drama Teacher to lead their department from September. The successful candidate, a dedicated Head of Drama Teacher, will develop and implement a vibrant drama curriculum, inspire students through engaging lessons, and direct school productions. We are looking for a skilled Head of Drama Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive drama curriculum.


• Deliver engaging drama lessons across all key stages.


• Direct and produce school plays and performances.


• Manage and maintain drama department resources.


• Lead and mentor other drama teachers. We require a Head of Drama Teacher who can perform these tasks.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.


• Organise and lead extracurricular drama activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Drama.


• Proven experience in teaching Drama at secondary level.


• Strong leadership and management skills.


• Excellent organisational and communication skills. We need an experienced Head of Drama Teacher for this position.
