Head of Electrical

We have registered an exciting new role, working as Head of Electrical for a well established and reputable M&E/Facilities Management Contractor.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate to work closely with Directors and have a hand in the growth and expansion of the division, whilst continuously seeking ways to improve the business and streamline areas of the division.

The company are a M&E Contractor who work predominantly within Facilities Management of large commercial buildings (offices, warehouses etc.).

The Head of Electrical will be responsible for an Electrical team and will ensure Electrical projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality levels.

This role involves leading and managing Supervisor/Managers, teams of electricians, overseeing electrical design, and ensuring that the projects comply with relevant electrical regulations. You will also be responsible for assisting with Estimating/Surveying of projects, working closely with the pre-construction and commercial teams.

Other duties will include:

• Pricing variations and producing quotes where necessary
• Producing job related documents such as RAMS, NICEIC certificates and O&M files
• Maintaining excellent client relations and chairing relevant progress meetings.
• Management of all labour including sub-contractors
• Cost control, P&L and reporting out
• Recruitment of staff and motivating teams, providing technical advice wherever needed.

The successful candidate should come for an Electrical background and have a relevant Level 3 qualification in an Electrical discipline.

You should also have experience within FM including managing electrical installations, testing & inspection, remedials.

The salary is up to £60k plus package.

The position is based in the company's Warrington offices, with some travel required as part of the role.
