Head of Event Production and Operations

The Role

As Head of Production & Operations you will be responsible for leading the technical and scenic production department to successful and high quality delivery across a broad portfolio of events. Responsibilities will be broad and include:

- Overseeing general output across technical and scenic departments

- Developing operational efficiencies to ensure quality project output

- Collaborating with internal departments

- Accountable for health & safety implementation

- Overseeing warehouse processes and function

- Identifying areas for investment in relation to kit and production solutions

- Identifying skill gaps and supporting the growth of the departments

- Driving commercial success including cost control, P&L management & project budgets

The Candidate

Candidates must hold solid, hands on experience in technical and/or scenic event production across a range of large scale, complex projects. We are looking for individuals with proven senior level experience driving operational efficiencies, commercial success and department management. This role will suit someone coming from a technical production agency or AV supplier to the events industry.
