Head of Field Service- South

Elevation Recruitment Group’s Engineering & Manufacturing Services Division are working with an automotive manufacturing company to strengthen their Aftermarket Team to recruit an experienced, driven and dynamic Head of Field Service.

The Head of Field Service role requires flexibility to meet operational requirements and will involve extensive travel throughout the South of the UK and the requirement to work from the Service Centre hub in Essex.

Salary £55,000 to £60,000 + £6,000 pa Car Allowance + excellent benefits package.

The Head of Field Service will provide hands on strategic direction and leadership for the Service Team, including Service Centers and the Field Engineering team whilst delivering a best in class Aftermarket function.

Responsibilities of the Head of Field Service role will include:

• Leading and managing effective field service delivery ensuring fleet availability
• Applying technical competence to ensure that customer problems and complaints are solved quickly and efficiently
• Responsible for developing an aftermarket field service strategy that is in line with the annual forecasted budget

We would be keen to speak with experienced Head of Field Service with the following skills and experience:

• Senior management technical experience as a Fleet Manager/Lead Engineering or in an automotive Service/After Sales Manager role
• Suitable engineering/technical qualification and experience working with electric vehicles
• A dynamic person who knows how to create credible solutions for a highly demanding customer base
• Intuitive, energetic and charismatic, you will be forward thinking, the type to create opportunities and will have a passion for creating customer excellence
• The drive and leadership skills to push the department forward, implementing new ideas along the way
• Excellent communication skills and a commercial mindset
