Head of Finance

We have an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as the Head of Finance, where you'll lead and manage the entire financial operations of a thriving and well-established business.

Duties:

• Month-End Procedures: Oversee and execute all month-end closing activities, including:
  
  • Reconciling balance sheets
  • Calculating and posting accruals and prepayments
  • Preparing Management Accounts
  • Reporting Variance Analysis

• Budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Ensure all financial practices are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
• Monitor and manage cash flow
• Lead and support the finance team, providing guidance and answering finance-related questions
• Oversee VAT returns and ensure compliance with VAT regulations
• Handle payroll processing
• Get involved with operational decision-making, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Accountant or at least 5 years' experience
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management 
• Experience managing a finance team
• Understanding of VAT
• Experience with compliance would be beneficial
