Job Description - Head of Finance

Our client, an established organisation in their field, is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join their leadership team. This key position reports directly to the Managing Director and offers an exciting opportunity to lead the finance function across their growing multi-site retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a finance team, overseeing management accounts, cashbook, purchase ledger, and sales ledger
Take full responsibility for statutory accounts and management reporting
Drive improvements in financial reporting processes and ensure timely delivery of management accounts
Collaborate with the MD to support strategic decision-making and financial forecasting
As the role progresses, take on responsibility for IT and internal audit functions

Requirements:

ACA-qualified with experience in multi-site retail or similar environments
Proven leadership skills and experience managing a finance team
Strong background in statutory accounts and financial reporting

Salary: £80-£90k + discretionary bonus, private medical, life insurance, and pension.
