Head of finance

We're looking for an exceptional Head of Finance to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of our growing business. This is a hands-on and strategic role suited to a commercially minded finance leader who can help steer and sustain the company's ongoing growth.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead all aspects of the finance function - from financial planning and analysis to reporting, risk management, and compliance. You'll be a key strategic partner to the wider business, providing insight, challenge, and direction as we continue to scale.

Head of Finance Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the finance function, ensuring robust financial processes and controls
* Deliver accurate budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management accounts
* Provide commercial and strategic insight to support key business decisions
* Oversee cash flow, working capital, and risk management
* Ensure full compliance with UK statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
* Manage external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors
* Support fundraising and investment activity as required

What We're Looking For
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience, with a strong background in financial leadership
* Experience in a scaling business, with a track record of improving service, quality, and profitability, is preferred.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Commercially minded with a strategic outlook, but comfortable rolling up your sleeves
* Proficient in financial systems and data-led decision making
