Head of Finance

This position requires a Head of Finance to oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure. The successful candidate will coordinate, analyse and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required).

Description

• Prepare a monthly report of the company's financial and operating statistics.
• Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.
• Manage the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts.
• Implement operational best practices in the finance department.
• Oversee the company's transaction processing systems and implement operational best practices.
• Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions.

Profile

A successful Head of Finance should have:

• A qualification in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
