About The Company:

An established business this specialist company offers a range of services to a diverse client base across the South-East.

The Role:

We are looking for a Head of Finance to join our client at a key point in their growth cycle. The position will lead to further growth as the company makes progress in new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all core finance functions including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Maintain and enhance financial controls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and risk management across the business.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely and efficient processing.
• Provide strategic financial insight and support to senior leadership to drive informed business decisions and sustainable growth.

Desirable Skills:

• Qualified or part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
• Proven experience in a hands-on finance leadership role within an SME or fast-paced services environment.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and improve financial controls and operational finance processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems; experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite) is a plus.
