Job purpose
The post holder is a member of our clients Management Team, fulfilling a crucial role with
responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's finances. Responsibility
extends to all accounting functions.
The post holder maintains operational and financial internal controls and performance, acting as a
Business Partner to the departmental heads to provide reporting, insight, and analysis. The role
supports business growth plans and processes.
The position is part of the group matrix, with a disciplinary reporting line to the
Managing Director and functional reporting to Group.
Main duties
Primary responsibilities underpin the group Vision 2030 and will include, but not be limited to:
· Ensure resilient day-to-day finance operations with the utmost integrity and accuracy (e.g.
Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting and
Revenue Recognition).
· Monitoring and controlling employee expenses, ensuring correct treatment and recovery of VAT
· Manage cashflow processes, optimise profits and minimise losses.
· Cash (including bank)/debt management.
· Preparation of financial statements and management accounts.
· Statutory reporting, including VAT and HMRC returns.
· Liaise with suppliers and outsourced partners (e.g. payroll bureau).
· Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasting.
· Summarise budget trends, analyse issues and report variances to support early intervention.
· Establish and maintain financial processes and controls, managing risks in compliance with
regulations.
· Fulfil the Business Partner role, collaborating actively with operational units and stakeholders.
· Project Analysis on all aspects of the business.
· Actively develop innovative solutions for management information reporting.
· Play an active role in audit processes and provide necessary documentation and support.
· Provide executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide
effective decision-making and commercial strategy.
· Develop operational KPIs, ensuring accuracy, usefulness and understanding of all KPIs and
work closely with the management team to help them improve operational performance.
Secondary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

· Undertake such other duties, training and hours of work as reasonably required and consistent
with this role's general level of responsibility.
Qualifications
· Educated to Bachelor's degree level in a relevant field. · ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent
Knowledge
Experience
· Experience working in a fast-paced finance environment
· Experience in implementing or having responsibility for ERP Systems
· Proven ability to manage project analysis
· A willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
· Strong attention to detail, numeric and grammatical skills
· Experience in business financial control processes, including invoicing, purchase order processing, expense processing
· Experience in managing the finances of an SME

· Strong IT skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products
