Now entering their next phase of growth, Atom is ready to appoint a Head of Finance who can lead the internal finance function, develop a capable team, and put in place the foundations that will allow senior leadership to focus fully on scaling the business.

You'll be empowered to shape the way the finance function operates- leading delivery, developing people, and improving processes. It's a role with variety, visibility and real influence, supporting both the business internally and a portfolio of SME clients.

You'll manage Atom's day-to-day finance operations, from monthly reporting and forecasting to process development and financial control. Leading a small internal team, you'll set high standards and implement scalable systems that support growth.

You'll also act as senior finance contact for several SME clients- delivering meaningful insight, financial models, and plans that help them make confident decisions.

Crucially, you'll work closely with the MD and Commercial Director, becoming the steady hand that allows them to move out of operational delivery and focus on strategic growth.

You may be a current Head of Finance, or a Financial Controller ready to take that next step. You're commercially astute, technically sound, and thrive in fast-moving environments where structure is still evolving.

You'll be qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or QBE with a solid track record), and confident using packages like Xero, Sage 50 and Sage 200. Experience with SMEs or in a multi-client setting will be a plus, along with a collaborative and pragmatic approach.
