Description

• Oversee the operations of the accounting department.
• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
• Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
• Ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Manage the production of annual reports and end of year closing processes.
• Monitor and analyse department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources.
• Advise staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
• Respond to inquiries from the Director of Finance, and other finance and firm-wide managers regarding financial results and special reporting requests.

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• A degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional certification such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations.
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Offer

• An estimated salary range of £80,000 to £90,000 GBP per annum.
