Are you a strategic, commercially-minded finance leader with a passion for driving performance in a dynamic manufacturing environment?
Our client – a leading manufacturing business based in Tees Valley – is seeking a Head of Finance to join their leadership team. This is a pivotal role, offering real scope to shape the financial future of a growing and innovative business.
?? Key Responsibilities:

Lead the finance function, ensuring robust financial control, forecasting, and reporting.
Partner with the MD and senior stakeholders to influence commercial strategy and operational decision-making.
Manage budgeting and planning processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Lead month-end, year-end, and statutory reporting in line with UK GAAP and internal standards.
Develop and mentor a small finance team, driving a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Support investment cases, cost analysis, and margin improvement initiatives.

? Ideal Candidate Profile:

Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with experience in manufacturing or a related sector.
Strong commercial acumen – confident working with operational teams and non-finance stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead a finance function, improve processes, and support business growth.
Hands-on approach with a strategic mindset – able to operate at both detail and board level.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
