Head of Finance

RM Recruit are working with a Birmingham based charity to recruit a Head of Finance for their leadership team. This newly defined role will see you operate as part of the senior management team and provide financial stewardship over all front line operations.

Your role will include, but not be limited to:

• Ensure that the organisation maintains and adheres to proper financial integrity, controls, and governance arrangements
• Supervise the organisation's finance systems, ensuring they are developed and automated whenever possible to enable timely financial reporting, analysis, effective planning, and internal controls.
• Prepare timely, accurate, and detailed management accounts for the CEO, Board of Directors, and external audiences
• Delivery of budgets, management accounts and all financial accounting processes.
• Collaborate closely with budget holders, offering support, advice, and hands on technical expertise to ensure accurate financial reporting systems are maintained at all times
• Oversee the finance team on a day to day basis

We are ideally seeking fully qualified accountants (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) but can consider those qualified by experience if charity or not for profit sector experience can be demonstrated. This role will have hybrid working in place.
