We are delighted to be partnering exclusively with an award-winning company seeking a strategic and commercially astute Head of Finance to lead on all financial matters and to work closely with the Board of Directors.

This confidential search is for a proven leader who will partner with the Managing Director to drive financial performance, secure funding, and ensure robust governance as the business scales.

Location: Suffolk

The Opportunity

As Head of Finance, you will hold a pivotal leadership role responsible for:

• Producing timely, accurate management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Managing the finance team.
• Managing the full financial reporting cycle, including annual statutory accounts and audits.
• Leading all treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, and funding arrangements.
• Overseeing tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, NI, Corporation Tax) and liaising with HMRC.
• Acting as Company Secretary and ensuring legal compliance.
• Leading the procurement and management of IT and insurance systems.
• Playing a central role in evaluating investment opportunities and strategic growth.
• You will work closely with the Board of Directors and external partners (banks, auditors, HMRC), ensuring the financial health and operational resilience of the business.

About You

You are a commercially focused finance leader with:

• An ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification and significant experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong technical accounting and compliance knowledge.
• A deep understanding of cash flow, funding structures, and risk management.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to challenge, support, and drive performance.
