Head of Finance

Are you a commercial finance professional who wants to take on an exciting new challenge ? Do you want to work with a senior leadership team where you can shape the direction of the organisation through adding commercial activities and work on long term projects ?
Henderson Scott are working with an East Sussex organisation that are embarking on a new era development. As Head of Finance you are going to work closely with the Senior Leadership team on financial strategy where you provide financial insight to support commercial decision making. The Head of Finance will initially have a small team that will be responsible for all aspect of operational finance and looking to implement robust processes and procedures. This role is pivotal to building the long term sustainability of the organisation.
Successful applicants will need to be able to demonstrate recent experience of working in a similar commercial role, ideally within a SME business. Applicants will need to hold an accounting qualification, be able to business partner, add value through commercial financial insight and enjoy a challenge. This is an on-site role.
