Head of Finance

We working with a fast-growing, FTSE 100-backed IT solutions provider based in Basingstoke, who are looking to recruit an experienced Head of Finance to join the well-established senior leadership team.

Reporting to the CFO and working closely with their Group Finance Director, you'll lead a team of 20+ finance professionals, drive financial strategy, ensure integrity and compliance, and play a key role in supporting commercial growth across multiple European markets.

What you'll do:

• Direct and develop the finance function, leading a team of over 20 professionals across financial reporting, planning, credit control, and tax.
• Own financial integrity and compliance, ensuring robust controls, timely reporting, and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements across multiple European entities.
• Drive financial strategy and planning, leading annual budgets, forecasts, and performance monitoring to support sustainable growth and profitability.
• Optimise working capital, ensuring effective management of credit, collections, payments, and stock to strengthen trading relationships while delivering on financial targets.
• Support commercial decision-making, providing financial insight and partnering with senior leadership to evaluate opportunities, manage risk, and maximise returns.
• Act as a key liaison for audits and inspections, working closely with internal and external auditors, insurers, and regulatory bodies.
• Shape culture and develop talent, mentoring and inspiring your team to grow future finance leaders and embedding a culture of integrity, accountability, and inclusion.

What you'll bring:

• ACA / CA / ACCA Qualification
• Proven track record as a Financial Controller/Head of Finance/Finance Director in a complex and fast paced organisation
• Strong expertise in financial strategy, reporting, and compliance
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills
