Salary: Up to c£80,000

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused and strategic Head of Finance to join the executive leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of the business.

As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for driving financial performance, operational discipline, and long-term financial health across the organisation. You will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, compliance, and profitability analysis, while ensuring the financial integrity of recurring revenue streams and project-based services.

Strategic & Operational Financial Leadership

• Develop and execute the financial strategy to support the 2030 business plan.

• Implement robust financial processes and governance to ensure strong day-to-day financial operations.

• Partner with the CEO and senior leadership team to align financial strategies with business objectives, including M&A and service expansion.

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across all lines of business (managed services, professional services, project delivery, etc.).

• Establish and track financial KPIs

Revenue & Cost Management

• Review service models to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.

• Monitor service margins, utilisation rates, and delivery efficiency to meet P&L targets.

Financial Operations & Controls

• Oversee accounting operations, billing, collections, and revenue recognition

• Ensure accurate monthly close processes, financial reporting, and audit readiness.

• Maintain effective internal controls and risk management protocols.

Cash Flow & Capital Management

• Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital optimisation, and capital expenditure.

• Liaise with banks, leasing partners, or investors to support strategic investments and maintain liquidity.

• Lead contract review and financial due diligence for acquisitions and major client agreements.

Business Analytics & Decision Support

• Deliver insightful financial dashboards and business intelligence to guide operational and strategic decision-making.

• Support leaders with real-time financial analysis and client profitability data.

• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within finance operations.

Leadership & Team Development

• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.

• Foster a data-driven, service-oriented culture that supports a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

• Drive collaboration across departments to ensure financial accountability at all levels.
