Job Title: Head of Finance - Interim 12-Month Contract

As Head of Finance, you will:

• Take full ownership of financial control, planning and forecasting

• Deliver monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow reporting

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning

• Ensure compliance across taxation, statutory reporting and Companies House filings

• Manage external audit and liaise with auditors where required

• Set up and own financial policies, controls and systems

• Provide insightful analysis and financial guidance to the executive team

• Potentially oversee a small finance team or external support resource

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

• Significant experience in senior finance roles - ideally Head of Finance, Finance Director or equivalent

• Proven financial leadership in a SME, tech or services-based business

• Strong systems background: experience implementing or managing financial systems

• Commercial, strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder skills

• Able to work autonomously and drive finance transformation
