Head of Finance - Growing Hedge Fund

Mondrian Alpha are partnering with a high-performing hedge fund going through a considerable period of growth. The firm are seeking a commercially minded Head of Finance to join the business in a leadership capacity. This is a broad and highly visible role sitting at the centre of the firm, offering excellent exposure across both strategic and operational finance matters within a dynamic investment environment.

Managing a team of 4, the successful individual will take ownership of the financial control environment across the management company and wider operating platform. The role will oversee core finance activities including management reporting, budgeting and forecasting cycles, along with broader financial governance responsibilities. The role will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, the position will partner with a range of teams and support regulatory and statutory obligations across multiple jurisdictions.

There is also a strong commercial element to the position, with involvement in strategic initiatives, forecasting and scenario analysis, along with broader operational projects as the firm grows.

The ideal candidate is ACA/ACCA qualified (minimum 7 years PQE), someone coming either from the hedge fund or private markets industry and will bring a combination of strong technical finance expertise, commercial awareness, and leadership capabilities. Prior experience managing teams within a fast-paced environment is essential.
