Head of Finance - Home based/ national travel

Reed Finance are working with a highly successful national Food Distribution company recruiting for a dynamic Head of Finance.

Salary circa. £85,000 + 25% bonus + car

Home based with regular travel to sites nationwide.

The role involves overseeing financial control, forecasting, commercial analysis, and decision support.

Key responsibilities include partnering with the Managing Director and leadership team, managing the financial control environment, maximising profitability, conducting commercial analysis, and supporting acquisitions.

The role also entails project work, analysing financial data, developing growth strategies, organising forecasting and budgeting processes, preparing board reports, and ensuring strong financial control and compliance.

Leadership duties include managing and developing the finance team, establishing objectives, and fostering best practices. Key relationships involve collaboration with various directors, branch managers, and finance teams.
