The Role

As Head of Finance, you’ll serve as the number two in the finance team, reporting directly to the FD. This broad role combines both commercial and operational responsibilities, making it an ideal position for a forward-thinking finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also lead and develop a team, playing a pivotal role in driving the company’s financial strategy and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the finance function, managing day-to-day operations and ensuring robust financial controls.
• Lead the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide commercial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Drive process improvements and scalability within the finance function.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a growing finance team.
• Collaborate with the FD on fundraising efforts, investor relations, and long-term financial planning.

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with experience in a scaling tech environment.
• Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing team.
• A strong mix of commercial and financial acumen, with a track record of driving business success.
• Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and balance competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
