Job Description - Head of FP&A

KJA are working with a fast paced business on a growth trajectory, to find a Head of FP&A to help steer growth with data-driven commercial insight.

The Head of FP&A will be responsible for driving the key financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. You’ll play a critical part in budget development, forecasting, performance tracking, supporting commercial and strategic decision-making across the business, and data/systems.

This is a high impact role, with visibility across the organisation and is perfect for someone who wants to shape and support the future of a high-growth business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the Annual Budget and regular reforecasting process, working cross functionally with department leads.
  • Prepare and analyse monthly ad hoc reports to provide insight into key business drivers and support commercial decision making.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, scenario planning and investment decisions.
  • Partner with business leaders to report and monitor KPIs and identify and track opportunities for revenue growth and cost efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time insight to the Exec team and SLT.
  • Drive process improvement to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency and improve financial performance.
  • Support month end and year end processes as required.

Qualifications & competencies:

  • At least 3 years of FP&A, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets, experience of working with financial and business systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience of working in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
