Head of FP&A | c.£75,000 to £90,000 | + Plus Bonus + Deal Based Incentive | Birchwood | Private Equity Backed Business | Business Sale on the Horizon

Axon Moore is delighted to be working with a new client in Birchwood, a Private Equity Backed corporate planning to go through an exit in the next few years.

This is a complex and multi-faceted business with different service lines, divisions and products. They're highly acquisitive and continue to bolt-on new businesses around the UK.

I am working with the Group CFO to find an FP&A lead for the business. The role is open and they will be open minded to titling the role Head of FP&A for the right person.

The main mandate of the role is to build a business model for the group with a fully integrated balance sheet, P&L and cash-flow model. Beyond this, the FP&A Lead will be responsible for managing external advisors in the preparatory phase of readying the business for sale in a few years time.

The main pre-requisites are:

• A fully qualified candidate (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Advanced excel skill set with experience of business modelling (Essential)
• Ideally exposure to private equity or an environment that has experienced a lot of M&A

This will be an excellent career move for a candidate looking to capitalise on a very progressive role within private equity.
