Are you an experienced assurance professional with a strong background in risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks? We are looking for a Head of Group Assurance to lead and develop a comprehensive second-line assurance strategy across a European financial services group. This is a newly created role which will give a great opportunity for this individual to design and shape this function.

The Role

As a key member of the Risk & Compliance leadership team, you will:
? Develop and implement a robust assurance framework that aligns with regulatory expectations.
? Conduct risk-based assurance reviews across multiple trading entities and locations.
? Provide strategic oversight on compliance with group minimum standards.
? Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive a strong risk and compliance culture.
? Lead and manage a team, ensuring high-quality assurance reviews and reporting.

What We’re Looking For

Significant experience in assurance, risk, or compliance within financial services.

Regulatory knowledge and expertise from Insurance – preferably from Broking.

Strong understanding of European regulatory requirements.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.
Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team.
Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
