About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced history teacher to lead our department. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and inspiring educator with a proven track record of success. They will have a deep understanding of the history curriculum and a commitment to providing students with a high-quality education.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the history department


• Develop and implement a rigorous and engaging history curriculum


• Teach history lessons to KS3, KS4, and KS5 students


• Support and develop other history teachers


• Represent the history department at school events and meetings

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in history


• QTS or PGCE


• 5+ years of teaching experience


• Experience of leading a history department
