Our client is looking for a Head of HR for their highly interesting business

Description

· Liaise with management regarding recruitment requirements and advertise any roles on a variety of platforms.

· Maintenance and filing of application forms

· Answer employment enquiries from general public

· Assist the selection progress where required, this includes:-

· Short-listing of candidates;

· Arranging interviews of short-listed candidates;

· Interviewing of candidates

· Secure references as necessary

· Notifying unsuccessful candidates in writing

· Issue appointment letters and contracts to successful candidates

· Complete right to work checks

· Update Time & Attendance system with new starts details

· Provide Management with information on manpower issues internally and externally

· Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies to use as and when required and negotiate discounted rates

• Provide advice and guidance to mangers on employment law and good business practice
• Issue and review all employee contracts as necessary
• Ensure employee handbooks kept up to date with current UK employment legislation and in house practices. Implementation and maintenance of company policy and procedure in line with UK legislation
• Liaise with payroll department to ensure administration for all new starts and terminations are effected promptly
