Head of Insurance Consulting

A newly launched specialist insurance business is seeking a dynamic and capable Compliance Lead to help drive its early growth. Focused on providing technical placement services, regulatory support, and operational expertise, the business serves MGAs, carriers, and brokers in the specialty insurance space.

With strong foundations in place and a clear growth plan, the business is now looking for a highly organised, hands-on individual to help turn strategy into execution.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive day-to-day operational processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability
• Support the delivery of services across placement, compliance, and client engagement
• Build out and refine internal systems, tools, and documentation
• Help manage projects and internal workstreams across multiple functions
• Assist in developing a robust framework for regulatory compliance and oversight
• Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners

Who This Role Is Best Suited For:

This role is ideal for someone with experience in the specialty insurance or MGA market, who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys a varied, client-facing role.

You may have a background in:

• MGA operations or broking support
• Specialty lines underwriting or compliance functions
• Insurance consultancy or project delivery (preferred, but not essential)

You'll be expected to work across multiple clients, often simultaneously, and should feel comfortable managing relationships, facilitating delivery, and building your professional network within the market. Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly earn trust with both internal teams and external partners are key.
