About the opportunity
Nigel Wright are partnering with an organisation based near Warrington in the search for a Head of IT, this is an exciting opportunity to provide both technical support and strategic leadership and vision to the business

This is a hands on role but you will have support, working alongside internal IT support and external suppliers, you will be required to engage with the wider business to ensure the IT estate is fit for purpose with an eye on future planning, particularly with their internal ERP system.

The Role

Strategic Planning - making sure IT aligns with and support the business objectives
IT Operations and Supplier Management
Continuous Improvement and Project Management
Service Management and Incident Resolution
Cyber and risk management

Skills and Experience Requirements:

The ideal candidate should come from a hands on background, either in infrastructure support or applications management - supporting internal systems
You should have a continuous improvement mindset and be good at engaging with stakeholders and the wider business
You should have strong overall awareness across the full portfolio of - service / integration / applications / ERP
D365 experience would be preferential.
