A leading Swiss medical technology company is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of IT Operations to join their growing IT leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to shape global manufacturing and logistics systems across Europe, the US and Asia, with significant influence on strategy, innovation and delivery.

You will take full ownership of IT operations for global production systems, overseeing ERP, MES, SCADA and related platforms in a regulated manufacturing environment. Leading a team of around 25 specialists, you will ensure system stability, compliance and continuous improvement while supporting digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

• Lead and develop the IT Operations team supporting production and logistics systems

• Ensure reliable operation of ERP (SAP), MES, SCADA and PLC-integrated systems in GMP environments

• Manage IT-supported supply chain processes including WMS, Track and Trace, serialisation and UDI

• Drive digital transformation across global sites (Switzerland, Germany, USA, China)

• Plan and deliver complex infrastructure and automation projects

• Define standardised IT architectures and ensure compliance with ISMS

• Support cross-functional collaboration between IT, manufacturing, engineering and QA

• Strong leadership background in IT operations for manufacturing or regulated industries

• Deep experience with SAP, MES and SCADA systems

• Solid understanding of GMP, GxP and validated environments

• Experience with WMS, serialisation, and global supply chain integration

• Familiar with Industry 4.0, smart factory, digital twin and data-driven manufacturing

• Fluent in German and English
