Description

The Head of IT Security and Operations will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our IT security strategy and operations. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in IT security and IT service management, particularly within the Microsoft tech stack. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT service management and consultancy, with a keen understanding of large language models and AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive IT security policies and procedures.
• Lead the design and deployment of security infrastructure from the ground up.
• Manage and oversee IT operations to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of the business.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies, including AI and large language models.
• Provide expert consultancy on IT service management and security best practices.
• Train and mentor IT staff on security protocols and procedures.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in IT security and IT service management.
• Proven experience with the Microsoft tech stack.
• Strong background in IT service management and consultancy.
• Knowledge of large language models and AI technologies is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Offer

• £110,000 - £150,000 + Bonus + benefits
