Head of Litigation

Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a expanding law firm based in Liverpool. They are seeking a Head of Litigation to oversee and manage a variety of litigation cases within the firm including Housing Disrepair, Enforcements, General Litigation under £100k and Tenancy Deposits.

This role pays a competitive salary of £75,000 - £80,000 annum depending on experience.

Responsibilities as Head of Litigation:

• Lead and manage the Litigation department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services.
• Oversee a diverse caseload including:
• Housing disrepair claims
• Tenancy deposit disputes
• Enforcement actions
• General Litigation
• Develop litigation strategies, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal obligations.

About you as Head of Litigation:

• Qualified solicitor or barrister (England & Wales) with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in litigation, ideally with a strong background in housing law.
• Proven experience managing a legal team or department.
• Expertise in housing disrepair, tenancy deposit claims, and enforcement procedures.
• Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
• A proactive, strategic mindset with a passion for access to justice.
