We are seeking a passionate and driven Head of Manufacturing to oversee the full operational performance of a busy, fast-paced manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and optimise day-to-day operations within the manufacturing plant
• Drive productivity, safety, quality, and efficiency in line with business KPIs
• Manage a diverse and skilled workforce, including agency and permanent staff
• Collaborate closely with engineering, technical, quality, and finance teams
• Embed a Lean Six Sigma culture and champion continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee HR-related processes including performance reviews and disciplinary matters
• Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Deliver operational cost efficiencies and support major site improvement projects
• Act as a visible and approachable leader, actively engaging with staff across the site

Ideal Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in manufacturing operations leadership, ideally in a regulated or technical environment
• Strong engineering or technical background
• Demonstrated success in motivating and managing teams
• Expertise in Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement practices
• Strong people management skills, with experience handling HR processes
• Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt in a dynamic environment
• Previous experience in a Senior Leadership Team is highly desirable
