Job Description - Head of Market Pricing

Market pricing. Strategic influence. Executive visibility.

A leading UK insurer is hiring a Head of Market Pricing to own and evolve a market-leading Personal Lines pricing proposition. Reporting into the Pricing Director, this role sits at the heart of commercial decision-making, shaping strategy, performance and long-term pricing capability.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and deliver a market pricing strategy that drives growth and competitive advantage.
Lead advanced pricing innovation across optimisation, LTV and modelling sophistication.
Partner with Executive leadership to shape strategy and hit premium and profit targets.
Build a top-quartile pricing capability with strong governance, talent and succession.

Qualifications:

Proven leader in Personal Lines pricing in insurance with deep GI and underwriting expertise.
Track record delivering pricing transformation and large-scale strategic change.
Confident, influential communicator at ExCo and Board level.
Commercially sharp, data-driven, and highly people-focused.
