Head of Marketing

Job Description

QLM Search are partnering a division of a global group with the recruitment of a newly created Head of Marketing position. Supporting both the UK&I Sales Director and working very closely with the Innovation leader, and wider leadership team, this is an outstanding position to shape, drive and grow the strategy in specialist B2B ingredients unit. This role will have a lot of “white space” to shape and create and in this stand-alone remit you will be both a strategic leader, influencing and partnering the leadership team, but also be very hands on. We are ideally looking for someone with an understanding of B2B Ingredients/B2C Food/Beverage.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

-Drive, shape, implement and develop the UK&I marketing strategy
-Heavy focus on being data driven, utilising customer and consumer insights and sector/product trend analysis,
-Work closely with Innovation and Finance teams to develop future marketing plans for new products and pricing
-Foster customer relationships to understand their plans, initiatives and projects
-Work closely with NPD to connect the product pipeline to commercial realisation
-Partner global colleagues on both social media and web content

The preferred candidate would ideally be someone who understands B2B, Ingredients, Food, Beverage or with a B2C profile where consumer insights and analysis if paramount to success. You need to be incredibly well organised, well planned and have the drive and resilience to deliver change. Preferred candidates will be experienced in the sector, will be data driven, insights focussed, see value creation and commercial connections.
